A government for the People

We live in a beautiful country, full of life, promise and hope. 250 years of innovation, of growth and learning. Our government was and still is not perfect. Over time we have learned from our history, our culture has changed, decades of technological advancements have lead to a new United States.

Here I will expand upon my political beliefs. Whether you feel that they are right or wrong… I am never one to be hardened in my ways. I’m open to discussion, to growth and to advancing what is best.

Proper Use of the Branches of Government

Congress should legislate and make the laws. The Judicial System interprets the laws. The Executive Branch executes and enforces the laws.

Currently the President is using the courts pressure how they (the courts) interprets laws, overwhelming the courts with frivolous law suits without merit and taking advantage of the pace at which the courts move.

Pride in the Office of the Presidency

No matter what party the President of the United States represents, the office of the President should be one of respect. The Presidency should be respected by everyone from all over the world. The President in turn should act like the leader they are.

A cabinet of the Best people

The cabinet of the President should be made up of the best people with the proper experience to do the job.

I would be a cabinet not based on party affiliation but rather the best people in their respected fields. I would also listen to, lean on and utilize their experience.
